Dr. Yim and nine CLL members attended the 2022 ASHA convention at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. The convention was held during November 17-19. Five posters were presented. 1) A comparative study on longitudinal second language ability, cognitive, psychology of bilingual and monolingual children. 2) Word order effect of mother-tongue on second language acquisition and aculturation. 3) Effects of mother-tongue ability on achievement motivation, bicultural acceptance, and ego-resiliency in bilingual adolescents. 4) Do children with cochlear implants differ in real time word processing? An eyetracking study. 5) Parenting factors influencing children's language development: a longitudinal study.
